DISRUPT’s Commissions

Our festival commissions were chosen by our selection panel in an open call process. Each commission has received funding to create something for the festival as a collaborative project between an artistic and community partner, typically as a development of an existing project or partnership, such as an exhibition, digital resource, performance, panel discussion or Q+A. Read more about our festival line-up here.

In order to meet the challenges thrown up by the pandemic, these organisations have had to innovate and listen. Many have created new structures that enable communities to lead, while others are working to support people who have been made intensely vulnerable.

For further information, take a look at our commissions below. Please be aware that DISRUPT will address distressing themes such as suicide and domestic violence, with trigger warnings included at the top of relevant commission descriptions.
